What is Cloud Computing

When any service is made available through the internet by invisible computers and servers, it is called cloud computing. This service can be anything like cloud storage service, email service, cloud gaming,g or other computer-related resources like Google Cloud, Amazon web server, Microsoft Azure, IBM cloud,d, and other hosting services are also examples of cloud computing.

Simply put, every service we use online is cloud computing. Watching YouTube videos, playing online games,s or taking online exams all depend on cloud computing and what you are reading today is also a miracle of cloud computing and cloud storage.

Cloud computing is a system that manages, stores,s and processes data online using the Internet. Cloud computing is easy to use and keeps our data safe.

History of cloud computing

Cloud computing was born in 1960 when the Internet existed in very few places and with very few other Internet users. This is why cloud computing was not developed at this time.

Later, when the internet started to be used more and the number of users started to increase, then in 1990, Salesforce started a cloud computing service, in the early stages, only a few cloud computing services were available.

After 2000, when people started liking cloud computing services and business companies started needing them, then big companies like Google, Microsoft, and  Amazon started cloud computing services.

Cloud computing has been developed over time and started to be used in all fields, nowadays all the services that are taken from the internet are provided by cloud computing.

Types of cloud computing?

There are many types of cloud computing systems, cloud computing is designed according to different tasks. Based on the deployment model, there are four types of cloud computing public cloud, private cloud, community cloud, and hybrid cloud.

Public Cloud:-

Such clouds are operated by third-party cloud service providers who provide services such as servers and storage over the Internet. With this type of service, all hardware, software,e and supporting infrastructure is purchased and managed by the cloud provider itself.

Private Cloud:-

A private cloud is for a business or organization, which may be located in a company’s data center or managed by a third-party service provider.

Community Cloud:-

This type of cloud is created for a group, so only people from that group and community can use the service.

Hybrid Cloud:-

It is a mix of public cloud and private cloud, and large business companies use hybrid cloud.

Cloud computing delivery models?

Based on the service model, there are three cloud computing delivery models SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS. Simply put, there are 3 layers of cloud computing services called delivery models.

Its full name is a software as a service. It provides a software service where the user does not need to install the software on their computer and the price is very low.

Its full name is Platform as a Service. The service delivers an environment (virtual hardware system) for software and application development, testing, delivery, and management, and the service is designed to rapidly build web and mobile applications.

Its full name is infrastructure as a service. In this, the user can rent the equipment as per their need from the cloud providers, this equipment includes data storage, virtualization, server,s, and networks.

Examples of cloud computing?

There are many examples of cloud computing that we use every day knowingly or unknowingly, e.g.

Google Drive:-

Google Drive is an application and website created by Google where we can upload photos, videos,s and documents. We can view all these files on Google Drive and we can also edit them online.

Online games:-

The data of many online games are uploaded to the online server, we can download the online game application to the computer and smartphone and play the online games directly through the online server without any data file.

Web hosting:-

Web Storage Where web data storage is located, web hosting can store and display data online using the web, web hosting is a great example of cloud computing.

What advantages of cloud computing?

Low Cost – The cost of a cloud computing system is very low compared to other hardware devices and computer systems. Cloud computing can be purchased as needed and includes networks, systems, data, processing units,s and other components.

Unlimited Storage – Storage from 1GB to 100TB can be used. Cloud computing storage can also be scaled up if needed.

Access from Anywhere – You can manage your cloud computing data through smartphones and computers from any location where the internet is available. Cloud computing data management requires a system in which the Internet is present.

Powerful and fast – The speed of the cloud computing system is much higher than the normal computer system, as well as cloud computing is very powerful because it has powerful processors and high-end hardware components.

Ease of use – Cloud computing is very easy to use, just like we upload files to Google drive, the same way cloud computing is used.
